I’d love one of the R610’s, but I need to talk to the wife. We have a small house that echoes, so I’d have to talk her into it. Where would it ship from, so I can estimate?
If she says yes, I’ll probably end up getting two of the 10G Eth cards too, if they’re still available. I’ve been planning on upping our home storage, so you caught me at a prime moment.

Actually after startup they’re really quiet. They don’t scream constantly.

Yeah, they are SFPs. I just looked up the model number.

@FaunCB, about those 4 port 5GB NICs. Can you post a model number? I’ve never heard of a 5GB NIC.

Maybe its like 1 gig per, then some wiggle room on top, but the card is capable of moving 5gig if all the lines are connected. I’ll post them in a little bit I’m taking a breather now that I’m home again.
