LOL. I read my necro'ed comment but it still my opinion. :)
After my free year of Vessel is up I won't be subscribing to it, unless they make some changes. My two biggest gripes with it are that the Android app sucks(iOS app has issues as well) and that it has ads(a premium service shouldn't have ads IMO). When I compare it to YouTube Red(which I have), I just cant see the value in Vessel, and given that YouTube is much more matured as a platform(better apps and functionality) I just don't see any reason to pay for Vessel. I hope Vessel improves in the future, but in the past (almost) year I haven't seen much change, other than bug fixes.

I have that subscription as well and never uses it.. Don't plan to subscribe I've no reason to or want to. So long as the tek syndicate videos are accessible then its fine anyway, which is what they plan to do. So I'm all for releasing on other platforms.

add the g if you want a gui I'm g-less

I do the same for vessel cause it sucks and cant stream....Even then youtude-dl can fail on vessel cause there infrastructure sucks so hard. Ive needed to download a video a few times to get the whole thing. Not even porn sites make me work that hard and vessel is a paid account for me.
I've only had one video fail to fully download (i retried) and it said it was 100% done so I just finished up on vessel

It's awful. No 4K, infrastructure sucks, slow to load EVERYTHING, most things are behind a pay wall, there are still ads even though you pay, customer support sucks, log in and sign up is confusing, a COUNTLESS number of bugs everywhere, UI is awful, it only "sometimes" works at all... I could go on and on.
Dont worry we wont, since this is basicly an open and timeless discussion thread.
Also my opinnion about recent decisions from staff to also upload the content on Vessel.
I think its a great idea, and i dont realy understand why people would be negative about it.
Like Logan allready mentioned in recent TEK video and in his post above.
All content remains free, and you dont need a vessel account to exaly watch the content.
This means that the uploads to vessel is basicly just another place to consume the content from,
which in my opinnion is awesome.

I think people freek out about baby steps because they jump ahead to a conclusion like no more youtube.
While I dont myself and as a paterion I can hit the kill switch and do something else anyway. I just dislike Vessels lake of performance and as a virtual paid subscriber would not wish it on my enemies.
Vessel is a greedy non performing piece of shit giving candy to content makers and peeing on viewers.

I do understand that some people might not like Vessel for various reasons.
But they can just continue to watch the content on Youtube or directly from our homepage.
So basicly nobody gets excluded from any content.
I do understand that some people might be concerned about this.
But there is realy no need to.
My one and only question was going to be if there was a worthwhile incentive for you guys to put your content there. If they're going to pay you more per view then I kind of think it's a no brainer.
I don't see how putting your eggs in more than one basket is a bad thing, as long as you don't let the eggs in one of the baskets spoil.

I have been wondering, is there a piece of shit content ID system like youtube, or is there a different system that is truly better, also I see that vessel is something for the "upper parts" of youtube, albeit there is people that play with clash of clans, so that doesn't hold up so much, but there is less spam and bullshit, at least there should be
If you watch linus's original video about jumping ship, he said that it is far better for the creators, that don't have to go through patreon to get stuff done, but hey, I'm happy that logan can get more done faster
