You’re right about bitter going well with steak. Though I think I prefer a the Vanilla Porter more.
Not a fan of IPAs. I like dark ales, stouts, red wine, and nice single malt scotch. Not all mixed together, I’m not a monster
Found these as a random buy in a local higher end shop and wow!
It is like drinking a chocolate muffin, perfect amound of sweetness, excellent taste, perfect desert beer.

Been off the ethanol-containing drinks, heading on 2mths… Keeping with Bier talk
IPAs – Put it in line with Whisk(e)y, for the experimentation capacity
… Some of them recent trends [milkshake], did get pushed on heavy handed tho
Lesser-obvious grains [Red Wheat, Rye] – Needle in the haystack
Stout – Heavier experience [flavours/weight] were welcome, but be done sparingly
Imperial makes, were ones I’d chase down, for not much more added money
Got me a case of these
One of my favourites but a little hard to get.
Thier red IPA is also excellent.
This is the single tastiest beer I’ve ever had and is in my top 5.

Yeah it was incredible flavour, might not be a night worth of a drink, but definitely a few for a treat. Must go back and see if they have more.
oh, no. I get sick of it fairly quickly. can have 2 or 3 per year at most.

Here’s my gotos resently. I rarely go for anything over 5% and I like them malty.
Aecht Schlenkerla, smoky as heck. My sisters think it tastes too much like bacon.

But I LOVE cider. Ithink Stella cider is the best next to Angry Orchard.
I’ve tried Redd’s and it’s a bit too bitter or tart.
Also, gotta have a DuClaw since it’s my city. Any B-more folks out there?
