I have an 8500 GT I could try to test with. It even has HDMI!

I know, and the 8500 GT is probably the worst of them that I can set up in a couple minutes. There isn't much in the way of weak cards below that.
Now I just want to try breaking 4000 points with the quadfire setup.

I can test the VooDoo 5 in OpenGL under Win7 and that's it. There are drivers for the V2 1000 but they are screwy as shit and really hard to set up.
I expect science, not yaps and yips.

Meh, it's a quick and dirty overclock that doesn't artifact when I'm really stressing the card.
EDIT: Is ASIC quality still a thing? Mine's apparently 90.8%
ASIC quality has always been a thing. 90.8% is very good.
Just unlocked my 6950 into a 6970, so 4000 points here we come.
You lucky bastard. I've tried unlocking my 6950, but it won't go for some reason.
Qualification Sample. :) It's a pre-picked pre-binned card for testing, so it started life as a 6970 and they simply locked it down to represent a 6950.
