[Build Log] dDrac's Workstation PC

Long over due, I have been waiting for this to come to my hands for a really long time.

My old PC died on the 10th of June this year.

Was able to place an order at the 31st of July, then the government had other plans, so my stuff was at the customs for near a month...
This week though, the 14th of September I got it in here. rolls eyes

Anyway, rant over. This is a build log, not a bitching corner. My apologies fellow Tek Syndicate members. Here goes then.

This is my new working instrument of doom.

I am a graphics designer and I make stuff...happen.
I am a proper shenanigan that doesn't care about on/off switches on PC cases, so I keep mine on 24/7. I needed something reliable and solid but with some spunk in it. So my choices are these:

Processor: Intel Xeon E5-1650 V3 (15MB cache, 3.5Ghz)
Memory: Kingston 32GB DDR4-2133 CL15 SDRAM egistered w/ parity ECC (2x16GB)
Motherboard: Asus X99E-WS/3.1USB
Graphics Card: EVGA 980Ti Superclocked (06G-P4-4995-KR)
SSD: Intel 535 480GB
HDD: X2 Western Digital Red 3TB (Running on Raid 0)
X2 Western Digital 500GB (For multi-boot and general trash, testing, etc)
PSU: Corsair AX860i
CPU Cooling: Corsair H110i GTX
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Primo

I had originally a lot of trouble deciding on the case, but thanks to our amazing community here, and your willingness to help each other, I was able to overcome this. I cannot thank you guys enough!!! Love you all! :D

So, I am using this one now, and so far it looks solid as expected.

Here's what I am looking at as I am writing this post (yeah, I am using my iMac. Shoot me! :P)

Now, some more to show up what I got through the mail this Tuesday. :D

The case just unpacked.

Front.

Back.

Motherboard view with CPU and RAM just installed.

Motherboard screwed in the case and graphics card installed. (Yesh, barefoot cause I can!)

Finished build Front.

Finished build Back.

So, that's all for now. Will update it as time passes by...

Let me know what you lovely people think, I would love to hear your input.

D.

That case looks a touch empty to me without custom watercooling, but whatever floats your boat.
Still looks nice regardless. Bet cable management was a breeze with so much space...

Some say empty some say clean. I think its very clean. Nice build sir.

Thank you both for your kind remarks.

My intention is to keep this case and build up on to it.
As for water cooling, it was within my intentions to add a hard-line loop as well, but I went way over budget just to get the parts at this time. So, I ended up getting the H110i for that matter alone.

We will see how things go in the future :)

As for cable management, I didn't even had any issues with my old PC case (Antec P180). I just enjoy building them, and I always try to make them neat. That being said, this is a case that needs little attention to produce a clean result, yes.

Looks clean, I like it, although I do love big cases more than the average joe.

Could totally see gold coolant in this if you did do a custom loop.

That is actually a good idea.

I am thinking something between silver, with golden accents myself.
