But n Starfield still, struggling to get to level 100, for the last steam acheivment.
I Still keep going down the rabbit hole of side quests.
I am enjoying redooing the game a bunch of times, and even the bugs are not putting me off.

I really wanted to enjoy Starfield, but I found the take-off, landing, and planet to planet cut scenes to be too jarring for me. The rest of the game play loop was pleasurable but I wanted more open space travel in my space game.
Honestly, Iām not trying to poo on the game is just wasnāt for me. What is does it seems to do really well.
Yeah, even with NVMe, the āloadingā screens (take off/land sequence) does seem to take a while.
At least, I presume they are used as loading screens, to transition between cells?
Iād prefer a quicker, black screen, as much data drive is not a potato, but hey, some consoles still run HDD, so lowest common denominator?
Also, it is a design choice, to hide the loading screens, rather than Skyrim or fallout loading screens
Iām currently playing, when I can, Urbo, and still playing Deep Rock Galactic, and SnowRunner.
Links for the interested:
I highly recommend Urbo if you want a nice calm relaxing puzzle-game (also works in VR
)
The free copy of Far Cry: Smurfs Avatar that came with my CPU is making my poor 1080Ti cry.
Currently playing Against the Storm.
Its legit good but you guys already know that with its Overwhelmingly Positive review.
Iām really happy Obsidian made The Outer Worlds. Itās the Not-Fallout, Not-Mass Effect, Not-Borderlands game that we needed in the world.
Of course, itās Obsidian so things are definitely mixed, but I didnāt expect to have this kind of game make me want to start Skyrim stealth-melee-ing enemies. Itās also that particular kind of RPG where the main driver is the actual characters and story. There are only wrong answers, so pick your flavor of poison.
Iām liking it. Iām even liking it enough to play it on my 1650m, which is not happy running this game, even with absolutely everything cranked to the minimum and FSR cranked to the max. Thatās a real compliment these days.
The newer Spacerās Choice edition has known performance issues that the older one did not. Also playing the idiot character and flying your ship into the sun for a special ābadā ending was amusing and different.
Iāve been playing HIFI Rush, itās pretty fun
The fact that itās the Spacerās Choice Edition makes it thematically hilarious. Looks like itās time to take a trip to Nexus Mods and see if somebodyās patched it yet.
Hey, itās not the best choice, itās Spacerās Choice!
Im still upset they sold their soul twice
Once when they sold to be Epic Exclusive for a year.
- Honestly I was also upset with Metro Exodus for doing this but they were apologetic and released the collectors edition for discount when it came to steam, unlike Obsidianā¦
Second to get into Xbox Exclusive, making me sign in to Microsoft.
Im glad it wasnt them that did Baldurs Gate 3, thats for sure.
Still waiting for SUPER cards to upgrade and experience some higher end games, Cyberpunk looks really neat.
The Chant
I have been really enjoying Track Turbo Mania on the deck. But it does not work out of the box thanks to Ubisoftās god-awful bloated launcher that literally no-one wants.
Also I only recently discovered thereās a green āTrackmasterā rank above gold! And now I have to start from the beginning and green them all, but thatās not a bad thing! TTM is 10/10
Tonight I think Iām actually going to try to play the game for real this time ![]()
I officially finished (true end) Sea of Stars last Wednesday. Fun game to pick up and play while in the car or plane.
Been looking at my library for another game in my library to fill that car/travel slot. Currently itās a deadlock between risk of rain 1/2, Shovel Knight, and Chained Echoes. Right now Iām leaning towards RPG because action/platformers might get interrupted by turbulence.
MG:R is a maybe but I feel itās a game that needs a long block of time and would work better for a flight
Are you done with/interested in metroidvanias? Dead Cells and Hollow Knight is like its almost made for the Steam Deck
Havenāt played metroidvania before. I heard good things about dead cells. Oh looks like itās on sale. Hmmm maybe I might pick it up
Looking at the trailer, I could see myself playing it if the movement is like broforce.
I dunno about hollow night, might be a little too difficult for me. For reference, rainworld on regular difficulty is tough because saves were limited and the map was really easy to get lost in
Void stranger looks like a game that could be good on the deck
I got dead cells, pretty fun. Itās definitely a pallette cleanser to play when I just want to hack and slash and not think to much about the story.
