What distro are you using?

VM's are under rated amongst normal users. Trying shit out before paving your machine is important.

Just starting to get familiar with Linux Mint, and Ubuntu. Once I get aspects of Linux Mint / Ubuntu sorted-out, I may utilise this system more (WIndows 10 is becoming a pain)

Ubuntu with Unity for few days now. It just works.

So does MacOSX

I used Sabayon some time back and was a bit of a cowardly Linux user back then, may go back to it.

What's Funtoo all about?

Don't install gentoo
DON'T DO IT

Yeah it takes too fucking long and you have to read a god damn book.

Fuck gentoo I'm not on my computer to go to school, I'm on it to avoid school.

Funtoo is basically Gentoo with a little more focus on changes to the packaging It's like Gentoo testing ground really. Although the past few years it's actually gotten to be much more to my liking than Gentoo.

Don't want to participate in school
Uses a operating system that forces you to learn

I'm bored someone slap me

I've installed gentoo twice recently and I've found the installation to be easier than the rest of the OS. I used it for like a month and eventually stopped using it because I didn't feel like compiling Libre Office on a decent quad core cpu. I also felt like the USE flags (THE reason to use gentoo) were just too much of a pain in the ass. And I missed being on the bleeding edge of arch as well

"Gentoo is bleeding edge toool!"

First time I ever read someone say that. Totally get it though.

I use Zorin OS 9 64bit on it's own dedicated 500gb Western Digital Green HDD in the hotswap bay on my main desktop and I dual boot it with Windows 10 64bit that is stored on a seperate 500gb Western Digital Blue HDD that is inside the macine's internal hard drive bay and I have 2 1tb hard drives also mounted in the machine's internal hard drive bays as storage drives. I switch between Windows and Linux just by going through the boot disk selection in the bios.

Debian testing with Gnome

Antegros w/ Gnome. But I think saying I 'use Linux' is a bit of a stretch given that all I use it for is web browsing and Spotify.
