Oh yeah, I still haven’t seen that one. I like that Netflix have have non-English shows like that.
I stumbled upon this Egyptian show a couple of years back.
This Thai show is pretty cool too.
I just watched this fucking thing today…
I have zero reactions to jump scares, gore, ugly motherfuckers… but this, this is so fucking creepy my skin is still crawling hours later.
10/10
If you’re in the mood for a silly homage to 80s movies check this one out. It’s a bit Gremlins, a bit Goonies, a bit Critters, a bit Police Academy, a bit some movie with Hulk Hogan, filtered through a 2000 lens so it’s not as offensive. Unfortunately it’s not very well executed but if you think of it as a bad clone of stupid 80s movie it’s quite enjoyable.
Daleks intensifies…
Wheel of time season 3
Reacher season 3
Star hunter redux
Heretic.
Not a movie I will watch again, and I’m not into creepy movies generally, but I thought this one was worth watching. Outstanding performance by Hugh Grant.
Came out before I was born, but I understood it all too well when I first saw it when I was 12 (heard the album first).
Murderbot is cool but 30 min episodes suck.
I’ve been rewatching Friends. It’s old, but still one of my favorites.
For TV series, I have a playlist with:
- House MD
- Prison Break
- Parks and recreations
- Friends
- Murder bot
- Mongrels
- Red Dwarf
- Killjoys
Apart from that, actually liked the Alien: Earth
All the cool cats paid respect to you.
Have you seen Detectorists? Nothing like the other shows but since you do British shows. I also tell everyone to watch Afterlife with Lesley Sharp and Andrew Lincoln.
Gonna give it a try. Just watched the 3rd episode of Alien, and have that “meh” mood. I do like British comedy, but to an extent:
- IT crowd
- Mongrels
- Black’s Books
- forgot the name… Magnetto and Gendalf in a relation comedy
- two and a half parents… Not with Charley Sheen. Nope, remember the faces, can’t remember the title.
But most of the things I find a bit “dry”, although I think BBC holds the majority of comedy shows I actually watched. Brooklin 9-9, Parks… and I think there was a third one would be non British.
