The show was Wiseguy, four seasons from 1987-1990.
A tale of undercover FBI agent, played by Ken Wahl, his handler, Jim Byrns, and his senior agent, Johnathon Banks.
It was way ahead of it’s time, with long and patient story arcs, and the impact of betraying those he’d grown close to. Wahl took out a Golden Globe for it.
The roll call of bad guys was epic, Keven Spacey was truly unhinged. Hard to find, it still stacks up very well.
In the fourth season, the studio decided it wanted a simpler format so Wahl quit, replaced by Steven Bauer. CBS punished the show by moving it to a shitty Saturday night time slot. The final season wasn’t bad but, without Wahl and the more complexities, the ratings slumped until it was later cancelled.

Oh I remember seeing the promos all the time for Wiseguy, but it looked like the type of show that never interested me, so I never watched it and had no idea who was in it.

To be honest you got me again. Last 10 years a few sci-fi’s would come to mind but a TV show? I don’t think I have seen any sci-fi shows this recent maybe except that … erm Lost in Space, but I don’t think that’s it.

Wait a moment, I have not see it yet but there is one show that I recently got my hands on. Is the The Ark? I did not look into it and thought The Ark is older and of lower production value but that is literally the only show* I got that is less then 10 years old.

I’ve not got back to that one since season one .. I think it’s in its third now ..

No idea, the ship looks like a modern version of the one in Silent Running.
The Ark just aired it’s 10 of 12 3rd season ep on Wednesday. Is it a spectacular ground-breaking sci-fi series. No. Is it worth watching? Yes. It’s made in like Serbia or Croatia and uses some local actors along with the usual Americans/Canadians. SFX are high quality. If you like sci-fi you should definitely give it a shot. They have a few hot actresses in the cast, and a little eye candy never hurts. ;-p

I can’t think of any one season sci-fi shows in the last decade, so this one must have flown under my radar, or I heard about it and didn’t like the concept, and then forgot about it.

I used the The Ark in the game here recently but I guess you forgot.
