F tier?
Why the kindness?
It sucked so hard it could’ve killed us all by triggering a black hole.

I never knew there was a US Red Dwarf attempt. I DID see the US Coupling attempt and it was amazing how they managed to suck all the comedy out of the funniest TV series ever made. I still can’t put my finger on why it was so bad. I think the actors were competent, but it was bad delivery, bad timing, bad translation from UK to US situational humor, something like that; I think. It just didn’t work at all. It was just completely unneeded since the original show was in English, so it’s not like they HAD to do it because most Americans REFUSE to read subtitles.
I’m 99% sure I’m wrong, because I’m pretty sure it was just SET in the 70s and not MADE in the 70s, but Life On Mars???

No, not Life on Mars.
If the current TV show is the Red Dwarf the last clue you gave doesn’t make sense. Red Dwarf aired from 1988 to 1999 on BBC 2 then on Dave from 2009 to 2020. There was 12 seasons made.
No, the Red Dwarf remarks were just a side tangent and not about the posted series.
Indeed, sorry.
No, unrelated to Red Dwarf .. the US remake of RD and our mystery show were both very bad. Extremely bad.

The show was The Tomorrow People, a group of young folk evolving mental abilities and the establishment fearing anyone they couldn’t use or control.
I saw it as a metaphor for the post war youth trying to move away from the old (cold) wars and conflicts into a future free of such burdens.
New game shortly ..

I don’t recognize the series, but I do recognize Tim Curry, Kevin Spacey, and I think that top picture is Chris Meloni.

Stanley Tucci, not Chris Meloni.
And no, it’s not The Equaliser again
