Yup, doing something like that should be a good experiance for him. Like when I couldn't convice the neighbor that doing 2 270 dual-x was dumb when he could just go one with one card for less and get better performance. Nows he's got a XFX 290 8gb and a 270 in his computer and all the 270 is doing is drawing power. Using his parrents money isn't going to teach him anything though. His computer cost more than my car and he only plays WoW.
@Logan Man it would be unfortunate if some source that would remain to be unsaid would leak something to wccftech(lord knows they need a good leak). Also does it feel good to know more than us peasants:P
