I have a few friends and one is from Yorkshire. She was extolling the virtue of Yorkshire tea. Haven’t had it yet, so I’ll report back when I do.
Price of Wales is solid for a fast cuppa.
I also like going Earl Grey if i want a quick tea. And i hope there is this option when i’m with tea barbarian’s. You know those who drink fruit flavered tea.
Longjing tea from the family
Set my kettle at 195°F so that after pouring it would be at ~185

My colleague got a little… Overenthusiastic when we got our monthly tea rations…
It’s only PG tips, but when you’re gagging for a brew…

Your consumption rate is amazing. I am still on my first bag. Only me and my kid drinks the tea once a day.
Let’s goo, I had no idea this thread existed. I’m somewhat far into the rabbit-hole, having spent ~£1000 on different teas over the last year and a bit. I’m not one of those weird insane hardcore young-sheng-heads but I do enjoy most other Chinese (and Taiwanese) teas - plenty oolongs (green, roasted, dancong, etc), a bunch of black teas (both fruity and malty), a few white teas and a good deal of ripes and other heicha. I like one or two Chinese greens and really dislike Japanese greens. I’ll be sure to update the next time I drink something interesting!
Randomly, I’m curious how does one make Earl Grey Tea from scratch. IIRC its lemon and bergamot (oil?). I’m gonna look for it in a YT somewhere but I’m still at work.
Do you guys just buy a premade Earl Grey tea flavor or make one from scratch? How do you make yours if you do prepare it from scratch?
I buy all my from tearex.com. Got to know the owner when he had a brick and mortar shop in Charlotte, NC. Later he moved and I moved to New Orleans but I still buy from him.
Hey welcome to the forum!
Odd choice for a first post in a tech related forum, but interests are interest, I guess!
