As I went in my blog article, I might want to try out some local LLM stuff, but I don’t really have the compute rn to do that at all. Especially the larger models. For me personally, the interesting question would be how these open source models work for Finnish & Swedish since both are pretty nische languages globally.
I have been also looking into some remote gaming vm’s & graphics acceleration for my lab where I am actually playing around with local AD and how to manage both the users & the machines. Might actually have to write a tutorial about that, if I ever ended up redoing my setup since I had some major issues figuring out how to get the windows lookup zones to work
I did see some people who could really get a use out of those new cards more than me though. But hopefully those cards find a new home where someone can put those to full use. Yeah, not sure if I would be able to do that even though I probably would not complain if I got one
