Seagate Hard Drive's good or bad?

I don't think there is any point in worrying about the supposed failure rates for desktop use. It is mostly just down to luck if you have more drives failing from one company vs another. Personally i have had 4 WD drives die on me is the last few years and only 1 Seagate, i think i even have an old Segates sata2 1tb drives still working that has been in a active system the whole time.

Very good point!!! I remember years back (mid 90's) when I bought a Maxtor (remember them?) hard drive. Packed up after only a couple of months. Got it RMA'd only to have the replacement DOA! Never touched Maxtor after that. Yet, my dad had Maxtor in his PC at the time and never had any problems, yet had a WD drive fail on him.

I dont care about your collection of discs, GIVE ME YOUR KEYCAPS!
