As for the 1060, If it was a choice between $250 for the 1060 and $280 for the 590, I’d still figure the 590 is worth it, at least if you are running linux where the 580 pretty solidly beats the 1060 last I checked. But, I wouldn’t pay even $200 for the 1060 at this point, considering you can get the 580 for about that price (even 8GB model) from time to time.
There are however still $300 580s and 1060s around. I wouldn’t pay for them myself, but presumably someone does, I guess. Not sure why those are worth that much over the much cheaper versions.
