This is the configuration I’m looking at, having opted for slightly better IPC performance per core without breaking the bank.

The Dell retailer is quoting USD8,500/-

Thoughts?

Business? Personal? What kind of compute use (Number of VMs/ VM use etc)

Dell have Eypc speced system in similar price range so can compare IPC gains/loss and can take that into consideration for your use case.

It’ll be for both and I’ll be running XCPng; the number of cores & RAM has been tailored for my expected number of VMs.

Thanks, I’ll ask them about those as well.

EYPC processors are not supported in my region by Dell. Thanks for the heads up.
