Glory to the master race!
I get that "master race" is supposed to be a humorous allusion about the pc gaming having many advantages over console gaming.
But still: did it really have to be Nazi terminology ? I know that it got nothing to do with Nazis, but still It rubs me the wrong way.
I bet if any of the anti-video-gaming-crusaders got wind of this meme, they would be having a field day of quoting this out of context.
This seems to have been blown wayyy out of proportion. So, maybe this Thorse guys is a douche. But is it not one of the main selling points of the PC platform that we are more mature than our console counterparts? Witch-hunts are certainly not mature, and neither is calling the police faking murder and a bomb threat (this could have been a lie, as pointed out in this thread).
This banning was not about computer specs. It was a about a failure to recognize a PC as a gaming machine and how some people blew it out of proportions.
If you search on the googel "Glory to the master race" all the links point to pc gaming or pc vs consoles related material and nothing about nazi. not sure why you say it is "Nazi terminology". Besides I don't like or support nazis just like you.

Its not like it was the community just a few douches getting back at another douche and it got out of hand. It doesnt represent any part of gaming as a whole.
