It freaks me out when people refer to it as a 'station'. I've always known that body type to be an 'estate'. Took me years to realize those are the same and it just depends where you're from.
You can also call it estate, wagon, tourer etc.
Opel Germany officialy calls it Opel insignia Sports Tourer
Yeah I think that's what it's official name is here as well but for some reason nobody here calls it that. Same goes for the BMW tourers and the Jaguar Sportbreak models etc.

I miss this car. Unfortunately I couldn't bring it back to the US with me. But it sure was fun to drive around Germany. 1999 Alfa Romeo GTV 2.0 TS. Sadly, it did not have Alfa's legendary V6 but this car is pretty front heavy anyway. Can't complain about the interior though, it was a really nice place to be.
