Yup just like 8gb was the new standard 4 years ago or so and I am still using a 4gb card and have not run into issues yet.

More is nice. 10gb should be fine, if you want the high end “future proof” then stump up for the 3090. It will only be edge cases and runnj g everything at max setting on 2160p+ that will even start to cause issues.

Why isn't anyone talking about GPU image sharpening?

Did I miss a thread on this? The new Radeon Image Sharpening and Nvidia Freestyle Sharpening filters are insanely great even when you render to your monitor’s native resolution. The added texture detail is extremely noticeable, even without zooming in. I honestly thought ESO added some sort of blur filter to the picture but no, the new sharpening filters work in multiple games like this. And it doesn’t change UI elements or make the game unplayable, I haven’t seen any artifacts, and it has a negligible impact on framerates. AMD side requires Navi, NVidia works on Pascal and possibly earlier. Really very impressive stuff. Click to expand to full size: [sharpening_comparison]

In Norway they already added discounts for 3000 series:
13% for 3080 Asus TUF cards
12% for 3090 Asus TUF cards

750 though seems more regular which is… Okay I guess.

Okay seems to just be an ASUS thing. They are charging WAY over the odds for their cards. 3090’s are 17000 NOK average which is about €1600 which is not far off what they said they would be. But ASUS are 20000 which is near enough €2000. Crazy people.
