Hello again!
I’ve order A+E key M.2 adapter → 4x SATA (ASM1064) from Aliexpress
I’ve tried connecting it to Firebat T8 Plus, in the place of WiFi card.
But oh well… It does not work.
- Proxmox installed on the M.2 SSD does not boot (stuck on “failed to load journal” or sth like that) with that adapter plugged in, after unplugging the adapter, it boots normally
- I’ve tried connecting HDD, but it would not show up even in BIOS, no matter what I’ve tried.

I’ve tried booting into Proxmox USB installer with only this adapter connected (without M.2 SATA SSD) and it showed me the HDD connected to the adapter.
So the adapter is indeed working.
I’m now trying to boot the USB drive with both M.2 SSD and the adapter connected, to no avail.
BIOS in my Firebat is really picky about booting, the USB drive only shows up after a ‘reboot’ form the OS, not even after ‘reset’ in bios, nor after ‘exit’ in BIOS, nor after power cycle, nor after removing CMOS battery.

I’ve tried this:
- Boot into Proxmox without adapter
- Plug the adapter in
- Reboot from proxmox
That booted into the USB drive, but only M.2 SATA drive was visible

Booted into USB, WITH adapter (WITH SSD and HDD connected) WITHOUT M.2 SATA drive
Both SSD and HDD showed up in proxmox installer
Not sure if I could boot into that SATA adapter, will try later…
