Liquid cooler + minifridge = win?

the compressor is what forces the CFL based coolant into liquid form so that when it encounters the heat of the CPU or remainder of the loop, it vaporizes, taking massive amounts of heat with it. You still have to have a radiator to help dispell the heat generated by the compressor, but it's a really neat idea. There are some DIY builds on some forums.

Well, to be fair, Samsung had an internet-enabled touch-screened refrigerator. It was pretty cool, while it lasted.

I know all of that, it's just the structure of that sentence was baffling me.

Oh! That's because one of the commentors said something about putting your cooling system in the fride being win. They're being on the conservative side of things. Phase change is so much more impressive.
