not sure about 10nm, but slide says all models have VT-x
Okay, well VT-d is the important one.
nuts, thatās rubbish thenā¦
Well, just wait and see. Almost all CPUs have vt-d now.
Is this 10nm yet? I donāt remember
Fuckin RIIIIIIPPPP
14nm
Its 14nm
cometlake = 14nm
Your question was answered. Kind of.
Great. See you guys next year
They canāt seem to get there can they, Intel as wellā¦ with all their money and apparent resources. Whats the difficulty theyāre having?
Press: Same time next year to add a + on the end?
Intel: Sure thing!
Would still be nice to play with it.
I suspect we can get some neato power savings by changing some of this stuff around.
Power management and power states have come some way from a few years ago on linux, so if this is limited to how thatās managed I imagine thatās still potential for some interesting options, especially if it can be manually triggered. kick off a travel power mode that cuts you to a hand full of cores while traveling?
I donāt know enough though, im just guessing
Thatās my suspicion. Based on how Iāve observed my cores operating in the past.
Hmm intel being compative again price wise.
That is going to be pretty interesting.
Intel still has the clocks.
nope
14nm.
Going to be interesting in how the 10900K is going to perform,
against the 3900X
Because that is what intel is positioning it against.
I think itāll probably still smash in games. The internet/techtubers of late seem to have completely forgotten gamers and the AMD praise has been so widespread that itās now the same old. Which is fair, theyāre great CPUs if youāre not a gamer. I am, I also like to maximise my fps, therefor Intel are still relevant to me. Iām not really fussed about having to skip youtube videos or forum threads but itās worth noting Intel DO still lead in some situations and it seems to get brushed under the rug.
The msrp of the 10900k is kinda appealing i guess.
Intel is indeed still a great choice for gamers,
and overclockers.
Looking forward to dive into the z490 boards vrmĀ“s etc.
