Getting Ati DX11 or Waiting for NVIDIA?

By OpenGL, I hope you mean OpenCL. OpenGL is for graphics, OpenCL is for GPUÂ Computing. Yes both OpenCL and OpenGL are compatible with Nvidia and ATi, however Nvidia has historically better OpenGL and OpenCL support.

this thread clearly proves there is a buncha nvidia faggot boys crawling this forum

Your post clearly proves you are a faggot ATi fanboy.

lol! hehe!

Stop flaming each other, it isn't helping the TC at all. you've both already made your opinion and so i have I, i still say wait for Nvidia unless you REALLY want the card now. If you can wait a few months, It'll be worth it.

What do you mean flaming? I just retorted to a really stupid post. That's not flaming, that's stating a fact.

i personally am going to wait another year at least. i dont really see a need for someone who has one of the last 2 generations of cards to upgrade.

"Your post clearly proves you are a faggot ATi fanboy."

Just pointing out that both statements were dick and were meant to annoy/piss off others. Not that I dont agree with you, He had no reason to say that

waiting till i gotz $ to buy a new card

Same here, I don't have enough for one of these cards quite yet.

I want to start my new build NAOW. But umm, I don't know if I'd get a GTX 285 instead, then use it as a Physx card with the Fermi. I need to find out if a DX10 Physx card would pair up good with a DX11 casual card. I already know what I might get though for the rest.

Well... who's still waiting for Nvidia?

Well from the looks of it the NVIDIA cards are better. It sounded like you were implying that they weren't worth the wait and that you should get a ATi card now.But anyway, I doubt those are real and even if they are I am sure those Nvidia cards have a long way to go and I am sure they will get better. I hope they are $350 or less

Just an example how easy it is to create a fake benchmark. lol.

Or the suppose pix with Tom Petersen with the 300 series card.

I'm a regular at guru3d and I don't trust any benchmark until an official preview or the product actually comes out.
It happen every time we hit a new series.

I don't know exactly what's so special today, there's even the rumor with
Intel Gulftown release date @ March 2010 and having a odd name.

I personally believe this is to screw around with the reader until CES comes January 7, 2010.
What a way to end the year huh?

I know this seem to burst a few reader bubble but bother don't carry this hype with you over the holiday.
Until then, play all the holiday release game until CES 2010! LOL

Wait for an official review. We don't want to be very high and get the card once is released. Sometimes pre-benchmarks are a failure.

Meh, the benchies found out to be fake. Sorry guys.

But from what we know, they seems to be close.

NVIDIA's Fermi Launch Delayed Until Marchhttp://techgage.com/news/nvidias_fermi_launch_delayed_until_march/

You missed the tag: "Charlie was here!"

Fermi will be show at CES, January (9th-12th to be exact), in Vegas.

Dunno if Nvidia has planned to show Fermi-GeForce, but what we've heard from Nvidia, they're proud of their work.

Sounds promising.
