Examples of it happening in other threads?
My thought is there may be to many frequent posters that its gone over a limit.
It disappeared from the anime culture club at some point, but has since made it’s way back.
Thread rules:
No linking to unlicensed content of any kind.
Follow the Level1Techs rules .
No NSFW content, including nudity, graphic sexual content, gore, etc.
No more then 20 memes posted in a row.
No discussing shows or video games that don’t originate from anime.
No lolis portrayed with sexual context.
Blur/hide all spoilers (if you hide them make sure they’re marked “Spoilers”).
No blurring links.
No discussions about the thread it’s self (go here for that).
No topics out side of Japanese culture, unless it’s an anime/manga equivalent.

It was there last friday, not sure when it disappeared. I only know because it was there on my work machine, which was logged on the whole weekend, and then wasnt there this monday after I refreshed my work machine because someone mentioned it was gone.
