The G2 has a single 12V rail with 62.4A
The Nex has four 12V rails from just 20A each.
Which is better then. I do not know anything about that.

As for the psu its either a cwt or andyson unit under the hood.... If andyson avoid, if cwt then yeah its ok... plenty of corsairs range are cwt units.
Here is a great cheap psu by xfx (seasonic oem) http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550sxxb9 that would be worth considering.
