Build Challenge: AMD Only, 800 Dollar Max

Let's have a build challenge with the community. Use http://pcpartpicker.com/ ONLY to share the build. It will be really interesting to see what people come up with.  There will be a first and second place winner for the best build, and I have a unique way of scoring parts. REMEMBER if you overclock or underclock any part, please specify how and when, if you just say "highest stable", I will choose the average OC I can find online for the particular part.

KEEP IN MIND that this is a challenge thread, not a help me built it thread, and each person will gain points for first and second place based on how they say they would put the system together.

 BUILD CHALLENGE RULES

Rule 1:  You HAVE to use the AMD-FX 6350 CPU, there will, however, be exceptions if the price of the build come close to the max if you end up using the 6300, or you have a good reason for using that. SOME points will be deducted from your final score if you do it.

Rule 2:  You HAVE to use the NZXT Phantom 410 Mid-Tower Case

Rule 3: The PC build MUST include a monitor in the list, and do not include the price of Microsoft Windows

Rule 4: Price Max (monitor included) should NOT exceed 800 USD.

After all of the builds are looked at, benchmarks for different parts will be analyzed to see who's build actually performs the best. If the build is to be overclocked, explain what voltage and cpu ratio you would run the 6350 at. Also, this build focuses on mid range gaming (such as using a 7790).

Ends on 8/12/2013...I will make a video (which will be posted in this thread) showing the winners and why I chose them. GOOD LUCK

aaaaaaaaand GO

If this becomes a thing, I should send out prizes :P

I HAVE DECIDED TO GIVE THE WINNER A 16GB FLASH DRIVE....I WILL MAKE A VIDEO AND UPLOAD IT ON THE 12TH..

Drive specs here...16GB first gen USB 3.0 drive

Here http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1qtfJ this is the best i could do.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1qvEv Highest stable OC.

Is it a penalty to go $3 over?

SSD option http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1qw3c should be able to get an oc of 4.3 - 4.5

Well i fuc*ing give up.

Good so far!

Mail in rebates shouldnt count

You aren't going to get a very overclocker friendly system with that kind of budget and forced to use that specific CPU. My 2 cents worth. Even if you could fit a 140 dollar well built motherboard into the system, you would be forced to skimp somewhere else, like the graphics card.

Room to spare. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1qu7H

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1qtFT  how about something like this..

Wonder if anyone will be able to fit a proper cooler in here xD

Gamebrakr has 25 buck for a hyper 212+ that would get you a little play room. I picked a better mobo because I have the M5A97 r2 and wish i had spent the extra 30$ for a better cpu power phase.

Good explination.

When does it end?

12th

I would highly suggest getting a 6300 and a Hyper 212 EVO and overclocking it past 6350 preformance. But since you're the OP, I will follow your needs. This build is very good. High quality parts. The monitor isnt the best, but I tried the best I can while fitting the rest of the parts.

With a 6350 and stock cooler, you will be able to reach atleast 4.1-4.2 and stock voltages.

If you go the recommended route (6300 and Hyper 212 EVO) You can get it to 4.5 with 1.404 vcore. Thats atleast how it was for me. I toned mine down a bit since it was passing 60 degrees.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1quu1 after all the rebates and shipping, $796 and I would overclock to the highest stable clock at lowest voltage on the GPU and CPU

+1

Several cons: 1 stick of ram. Low quality PSU. Low quality motherboard.

The Corsair CX series PSU's are entry level and when there is an XFX 550W PSU for 30 dollars, you can't go wrong. The 7950 preforms ALOT better than the 7870 GHz espaically when overclocked.

IMO, the build that I made is much better preformance wise.

Also the motherboard you chose has a 4 + 1 power phase, which is horrible for overclocking.

and I looked at your build, you never stuck with the case in the criteria. He wanted a Phantom 410, which I chose seeing there wasn't any other option. AND Results will always vary

Tis why I am calling this a challenge xD
