hey guys,

What are the best options??
Depends. I personally designed this option for people looking to get into gaming on a really tight budget, with plenty of room for future upgrades.

Oh, I didn't see it...
OK, cut on RAM: get one RAM stick with 4 gigabyte
Cut on storage: get a Western Digital 500 gigabyte hard drive
And now, if you spend 50-60 bucks more, you should be able to ad an HD 7850. You can ad the other parts of jerm. I squeezed what I can.
I added up some parts on Newegg, here ya go http://gyazo.com/4a6b4186f76fff147639402ffb01f82e.png?1366204640
Also, for the case, you choose on your own, since people are kinda picky about the case they want. But the parts all together, is around $475 and the shipping is free. Also, I chose a Pentium dual core becuase it's cheap and it's an LGA1155 socket, which means it is futureproof. Hope I helped.
so you'd recommend the AMD FX-4130 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor, how about over something like the Intel i3-3220 3.3GHz?
and would you reccommend sacraficing a bit on the cpu to get the radeon 7870 or do you think the 7850 is fine?
the only intel petium that i have access to is the G2120 3.1Ghz. do you think a intel pentium is a better choice over a quad core AMD? other than that i'd be looking at the Intel i3-3220 3.3GHz but then the price rises quite noticabley.
The balance of a 4 core chip and a HD 7850 will work well (i still like the phenom over the FX 4 core but if you cant get one it will do)
The i3 dosent handle well in games being a 2core chip with a bit of HT (even the 4 year old phenom kills it)
do you think 4g will be enough? or are you saying just deal with is for now and maybe put another 4g in at a later date?
I could try to do some AMD build for you, if you'd like
thanks, I'd appriciate it just to get some good ideas
okay, thanks mate you've helped alot! i hope i can find a Phenom but otherwise i suppose the FX will have to do.
it will be enough. I think you will be forced to add another 4 gigabyte stick in maybe 2-3 years.
If you can, get a stick with atleast 1600 mhz. Or higher. And CL9!

Surprised no one's linked the falcon guide yet. While never perfect, it's a great starting point for builds and is kept fantastically up to date. Worth a bookmark.
