Asrock WRX80 creator questions

exploring the Asrock WRX80 creator, got a few questions:

  1. in their manual, it doesn’t explicitly state LRDIMM, anyone tried using LRDIMM for their build ? for my use case and budget they fit better.

  1. has anyone tried installing ESX on that motherboard ? now that they are removing the intel NIC, I’m not sure if marvell is supported or if I will need to add an external 10gbe card

  2. for an NVME-PCIE card, asus or asrock for the expansion? or it doesn’t matter and the quality is the same as well as compatibility with stuff

no stock anywhere, so I guess it will take me a bit to source one anyway…

it should do LRDIMM since others support that.

Theres another user having trouble getting this board.

Maybe threads can be combined.

I’m running 8x32GB 2400T LR DIMMS and it has been fine so far.
