Pretty sure any BSD or *NIX in general should be able to install a ppp daemon for dialup internet access. modem should just show up as a serial port. If you have somewhere that still offers dialup.

OFWBoot is proving to be an interesting tool. It might solve our confusion on getting voidppc to boot on its own, rather than hosting it and injecting it to install it.

Might want to add yourself to the wheel group if you like being able to su to root.
