So I decided to try kde and wayland on my rx 7900 xtx main pc for personal browsing and development, as I didn’t encounter any issues on my steam deck
Unfortunately for my htpc running nobara and a rtx 2070, games crash when I try to launch it from big picture mode. HDR and higher resolutions cause big picture mode to glitch out.
I suspect the issue is caused by nvidia gpu not playing well with wayland. The workaround I found was to launch games from desktop mode.
