If you read the manga it has none of the hentai that the anime has, actually rather boring

i long ago realized i their is no line they wont cross to make a anime, and i will never grok the entire anime audience range of appeal.

Dorohedoro was definitely a surprise, but not a welcome one. The author has a incredible artstyle that would be very difficult to adapt to a anime. So they decided to fuck it and make it CG
at this point please stop adapting the manga I love into crappy CG products.

Probably not with the elements but they likely looked at real meteors and used same/similar colors so it is accurate which is cool
