3D Printing Shenanigans - Front Panel Extensions For Falcon Case

Hello!

Task

So for this little project, I was tasked with making some extender bits for the front panel of the new falcon case Wendell got! It’s a Knight Rider joke, where they extend the car into super pursuit mode!
Yanno…because Wendell pumped 1500 watts into this monster PC LOL

Here’s the case from Wendell’s Twitter:

Model

It was a simple little project that took me about an hour. On my first test print, I noticed the top and bottom were kind of wobbly. I wasn’t sure it would hold the front of the PC up. So, I added little side feet to act as supports.

Result

I wasn’t able to get quite the right shape for the oval notches that snap on to the front panel. It was good enough, though. I could’ve made them harder to get off, but I think Wendell wanted them to work just for the video joke, so I wasn’t too worried about it.

Sorry lol that’s not the recording being weird, in the video a light is having a seizure in the background.

its super pursuit mode, 40% faster (and 1500 watts!), but FalconNW style.

Steve will be proud!

Edit: On second thought, don’t let him pick it up though~

And if you don’t want it dropped, don’t let Linus anywhere near IT!
