I using NixOS with a ZFS based root. I have separate datasets for / /home /nix /var. Im am planing to try set my nix os data set to sync=disabled. Im curious if anyone has tryed this of could tell me why i shouldnt do this.
My thinking is the the only time the nix store is written to is during a nix build. Because of this the only risk is losing power during rebuild but then it would just role back to the previous derivation.
