I tried out the double right click ‘picture in picture’ video feature of chrome today. It worked great, but now I’m unable to scroll or click on anything in the forum. Works normally in edge.
A reboot does clear it up, so between that and just using a different browser I’d say no big deal for me but it’s interesting. Feels like it’s probably just chrome/discourse not agreeing on who is in the foreground.

The forum page broke for me again, and I don’t think I used that picture in picture feature this time. Maybe the two aren’t related.
are you using adblockers? or other extensions?
disable them and try again.
also clear your browsers cache…
the forum had some updates recently so clearing you site data may help clear up your issue.
as for your browser issue.
open the dev console and see what errors are being throw after you cause the p.i.p to fail.
it might point you and us to a solution.
Could also keep the browsers task-manager open to see if something shows up hogging CPU time.
Cache clear took care of it, and using pip immediately broke it again.
On the plus side, it’s quite repeatable.
EDIT: specifically need to clear “cookies and other site data” to restore functionality, but breaks again when I log in.
No wild looking process in the chrome task manager that I notice
