What is your favorite freeware and why? I personally love all my firefox add-ons like piclens and speedfan really helps me keep track of my temps on my system during the summmer so I know when I have to turn on my housefan and put on my headphones to cancel out the noise and keep my system cool. What is some of your favorite freeware and why?

Man I hate AVG. It really does suck. It doesnt detect anything. I uploaded some files at Virustotal.com to 32x check if it was virus free. Since it runs 32 antivirus on the file. And AVG is on the list and it never detected anything but, other real antivirus like kapersky and bit defender would always detect something. So I'm gonna abandon AVG and pick up something else as soon as I make up my mind.
uTorrent and foobar2000 for me. gotta have my program to dl my albums with, and my music player to play em'. :D

i haven't used 8, i was just too disappointed to give it a try, i might have to though.

AVG 8.0 is good, and comes with anti-spyware as well, so anti-spyware free now :D
a freeware program I would like to add is EphPod
really good tool to get music off of ipods, so if a friends over and he just got that new CD just plug up his ipod and launch this app. Really is the best freeware ipod ripper out there in my opinion
