Y U no Work GPU?

So I was reading somewhere on the forums that when your GPU is spiking up and down its a sign of a bottleneck, when I realized that my GPU does this. So I tested this playing Battlefield 4 MP for about 10 mins before quickly closing the window and print screeing Asus GPU tweak (their version of MSI Afterburner). Now I'm trying to understand why this is happening as it would explain why I have a lot of random fps drops (all be it for a few seconds) When it goes from a solid 60 to 35 -45ish and then back to 60 all within seconds.

My gfx card is an Asus HD 7770 ( I tested this with the oc(see picture) and without)

Processor FX - 6300 Oce'd to 4.2GHz (this is defiantly not the problem (I don't think) as it stays below 40C under load and well its a friggin 6 core cpu its not the bottleneck in something like bf4)

Mobo: Asrock 970 Extreme 4 ( I thought this might be it but the Internet is filled with people running 290x and 780tis on this board and boards much worse than this and the board isn't bottle necking them at all (by board I mean the Pcie bus))

Sooo any help is appreciated

whats your hdd? I had a really slow 120gb sata with my i7 once and it made it slower than a dual core athlon laptop i had sitting around.

Could be that your using an OC'd 6300 which should pull a good amount of voltage on a motherboard that has a pretty crap vrm

I used to run it off of a a brand new WD blue 1tb drive but now it runs off of a plextor m5s ssd, so that is defiantly not the problem.

So your suggesting that my motherboard is unable to provide enough power to my GPU? It is a very small over click give the limitations of my board ... So would you recommend I drop it back to the stock 3. Something gigahertz with its turbo core stuff enabled?
