I've been eyeballong this card for a while, and with this $30 rebate, I'm highly considering getting it. Does anyone have any insight in this card, how are the temps, noise level, etc. I really enjoy the look of this XFX card, and really want to get it, but im not sure if it would be a smart choice. The other card I'm looking at is the HIS ICEQ Turbo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161420
I've heard great things about this card and its cooler, but quite frankly, I hate the aesthetics of the card, and for some personal reason, I enjoy the XFX appearance much more. The XFX comes out to $289.99 and the HIS at $299.99. Would choosing the XFX be a solid choice? Or should I suck it up and get the HIS?
The XFX is a really solid choice. I like the casing on it more than the HIS too also. The temps shouldn't be a problem as this GPU has many open areas for air to go be released. The GPU also has heatsinks panning out the ends of the GPU next to the fans so that the heat is expelled out and away from other parts of the Computer. As for the noise level I can't really say much about it since I don't actually hear it, but from other sites a few people cautioned that it makes only a little noise so that's all I can give you.

Im also looking at this card, reveiws i look at say it makes a little more noise than some of the other 7850's (Not the referance card, that thing is like a jet apparently) but stays a bit cooler than others.
Im already pretty much sold and if anyone else is in the UK, head over to scan.co.uk they have 7870's and 7950's on a scale ~£20 off.
