Xeon E5 2670 - a builds list and FAQ

There are so many builds around this CPU in the forum and there are so many frequently asked questions...
The knowledge about the chip, the boards, cases and so on, it is scattered all over.
Let's make a list of all the E5 2670 builds. Single or dual CPU systems, doesn't matter.
Also let's list the most obvious questions and answer them.

Just post threads here, I will list alphabetically by username.

Do you have a thread on it? Or a summery post? Images maybe even?

That was not really what I meant. I would like to keep this topic as clean as possible. Could you provide just a link to your build?

Thanks for including my thread. Maybe I'll make a more official thread to show it off once I get everything set up the way I want. Just waiting on some drive rails to add four more hard drives. And for memtest86 to finish without errors.

I just posted my build https://forum.teksyndicate.com/t/dual-e5-2680-build/105089

Added, thanks. Although 2680s but close enough. ;)

@anon5205053, can you post your build in a thread of it's own? It looks like an interesting build but I can't link it like this.

I have two builds with this processor. I will post in the next week listing the parts and my findings to maybe help someone out.
