Just wanted to see if you guys agree. I am assuming that this will be running on an AMD so, so essentially an apu. Now the Scorpio is said to have about 6 terafloos if compute power so that it can play 4k games as well as vr. There were rumors awhile back about the possibility of an 8 core Zen apu. Could this be similar to that? And if it is holy crap that would be absolutely amazing for itx.
They didn't state 6Tflops for GPU alone, it's more likely for the whole APU, that's why all these recent speculations of what graphics card it has is being over blown by these recent announcement. An 8 core Zen isn't possible, and certainly not a Vega chip that eurogamer is speculating when RX 480 (Polaris 10) already does 5+ Tflops, just add the beefed up Jaguar chips that these 4k consoles are suppose to get and you have a 6Tflop APU. You gotta also take into consideration the fact that they're fitting all this in an APU to keep power envelope down to mobile level.
So, the only way to really get a 6TFlop for GPU alone and still have an 8 core CPU is if they would've gotten a different layout. Like this one found for the GTX 1070, It's a dedicated GPU and CPU, both can't be in the same die due to heat & level of difficulty putting all that power in one die, but both are still lower powered that they can be on the same motherboard.
It's not out of realm when you're already seeing small bagpack VR rigs like these for example.

But don't get too excited...
...these are expensive. Way more than a $400-500 typical new console launch. So more than likely Sony and Microsoft are going the APU route to keep the cost down. Which brings us back to the 6TFlop being a total output of the APU, not the actual GPU alone.
Edit: And in order to keep backwards compatibility for 1st Gen PS4 and XboxOne, they're gonna wanna keep the same architecture (APU).
