X8 RDIMM Kits

wait a minute…so there are 8 DIMM kits that come in smaller packages that are still the same kit??? I thought buying kits like that are a no no ouchie boo boo for a node!?

RAM is insane right now, but I don’t wan’t to miss out on a decent 512gb or more kit for the full spread in dev work. Thanks for the new Threadripper WRX-90 talk btw @wendell

I buy trays 50 at a time for the data center. that’s how they come. but there’s also started to be these rdimm kits because that’s everyone’s expectations and they do go fast and are stable.

Oh, thank goodness. I appreciate the feedback! Obviously RAM is a huge problem for college students this semester. I’ll set sail towards 512gb once the prices drop a bit more …i bet there will be RAM, CPU, & GPU emojis in our lifetime
