So I know that dp 1.4 has the bandwidth for 4k 120hz, but the WX2100 datasheet from amd only lists 60hz refresh rates specifically, even for lower resolutions.
I’d like to make sure there isn’t another level of of hardware support for 120hz that I don’t know about. Can a WX2100 output 4k@120hz?
I went ahead and picked one up on eBay, preliminary tests in Ubuntu 22.04 suggest that the card is not capable of 120hz output. One monitor shows the 120hz option but the setting doesn’t take, and the other is only detected at 60hz at all.
EDIT: 120hz does work, but only when a single display is connected.
EDIT 2: it doesn’t seem to quite play nice with my kvm either
