What year and clock speed? I can’t find G4 minis to lave my life that aren’t 200 dollars for some dumbass reason.
because apple killed of rosetta after snow leopard so you can’t run PPC apps on x86 anymore and when if and you can it lacks any video API or acceleration so a PPC mac is how you run old app you are grandfathered in to or stuck with or old games. add to that the nostalgia factor and you will find that to some degree PPC apple hardware still hold some $$$ value.
They circa 2005 and either 1.25mhz or 1.42ghz, single slot of DDR1 upgradable to 1Gb of RAM if it/they haven’t been already. IDE for optical and HDD. Not that you can’t buy an IDE SSD or a cheap mSata IDE adapter. Typically the 1.25ghz have 32mv vram and the 1.42ghz typically have 64mb vram. at least with the models i have.
I have 2 ppc mac pros, tried putting centOS on them, now have no use for them.
They weigh a ton so would be pricey to ship. I also dont have the software for them
