I know its not officially supported but I got EVE-NG to work in my WSL2 version of ubuntu 20.04 (it fully works and I can run VM’s nested), but I have an issue where I cant route to the IP address and it won’t talk out past the host to grab anything from the internet such as ISO’s for OS’s (such as PFsense for network labs).
The way I get to the web part of EVE-NG is I have to specify “localhost” in my browser and that seems to work but the IP does not last time I tested.
The hosts file in the VM is modified by my by adding in the stuff for EVE-NG to work but other than that it is exactly the same as it was during first boot of the VM.
Anyone know how I can trouble shoot this or fix this issue so the EVE-NG VM can go to the internet and grab stuff?
P.S. I know my WSL firewall is working fine as i tried installing KALI in WSL2 and that can ping google, apt update, etc so thats working fine.
