Building a new rig for LiveStreaming.
Chose this motherboard because of the amount of pci lanes. We are adding Dante-soundcards, some Blackmagic Devices.
Im using a Sliger CX4150a 4U 15in Rackmount Server Case
My question:
Im installing a Asus 3090 TUF and its just a tad too long, after i installed the Corsair h100i for the CPU.
The manual recommends installing 1 gpu setups in slot 2, like i would normally do. But can i install it in slot 5?
The cooler is 2x25 so the last fan space is only a noctua fan and doesnt have the thickness of the radiator added to it.
This is a workstation class board and you should be able to put a single graphics card in whichever 16X slot you want with little to no noticeable issues.
That being said, I do agree that in scenarios with more than one card, it’s best to follow the recommendations by the manufacturer as there are power delivery considerations.
