So I just remembered this existed, I'll update the thread once I find the actual name of the board, it's the:
ECS PF88 Extreme Hybrid Intel/AMD Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813135202

It needs:
socket 775 Intel Pentium 4 or socket 939 AMD Athlon 64 processor.

I think I actually have a 775 CPU lying around here, seems so, a pentium 4 531

but assuming all the parts needed could be found and it was working, would wendell be up for doing a video on it?

Essentially it's an old motherboard with an intel socket that has the capability of getting a daughter board added that can house an AMD CPU

Performance wise I'm not sure if it would be useful for anything, but I think it'd be a fairly interesting video none the less.

I wonder if any company would be crazy enough to do something like this again once zen launches

Dat ubuntu colorscheme though.

Might be cool. I would find this entertaining.

Manliest colorscheme EVAR...
This could have been really really good if it was 1150/AM3+ combo...
You need powerful cores - you have your i5/i7... You need your rendering and stuff? Here are 8 extra cores... Have fun...
I believe it's 775/939 combo... Looks really nice though... Manly...

i need this in my life

You can only use one CPU at a time obviously.

I got the cpus that fit, no question

Its an interesting product because this was when AMD was still on top the first time right? Also AMD was more expensive at the time too
