I used to have one of these.
Used it so i could listen to music from the school computers :)
Only have mini-jack connectivity thou, but the sound quality is actually quite decent, atleast it was for the dongle i got.
I almost bought one of those to use on my school computer, too! I got lucky and my computer's hdd got corrupted, so I got one of the newer ones that had sound! Guess I will invest a whole $3.00 into one of those, hopefully it will work!
Ok, I have not been able to order online yet, but I did find one of these on sale at office max for $20: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/startech-sound-card-pcisound4ch I will be there next week and will have the cash on me. Should I get this, and would this "hopefully" fix the problem? Also, from what people have been saying, the drivers on the cd were crap (which I assumed) and you should download the drivers from the website (which I had already planned on doing)
