I have been trying to setup Windows XP Mode in Windows 7. I was able to install Windows Virtual PC and when I begin the Windows XP mode setup the progress bar completes and then the message "Could not complete Setup. Please try again." appears. How can I fix this? My CPU does indeed support virtualization.
Why are you trying to virtualize? Have you tried running in compatability mode?
I am trying to virtualize for Space Cadet 3D Pinball and Reversi. Windows doesn't allow VMs to be run in compitability mode
and the programs won't run in compatability mode?
Oh, the programs. I just need the programs built in to XP.
Are you running Win7 Pro, Enterprise or Ultimate? This only works on these versions according to MS.

Turns out hardware-assisted virtualization was turned off. Oops... it was IOMMU.

Actually, even with IOMMU turned on, XP Mode still doesn't work, the same error occurs.
