I mentioned this in a Superchat a few weeks ago. Back when Windows 10 started asking for MS account sign in during install, I tried typing several different things to bypass. Eventually, I tried typing “cancel” as the username and password. A message comes up saying, “Oops, something went wrong” and allows the user to create a local account. This has continued to work on every build of 10 and 11 since. New computers from the store, and clean install from USB too. I know there are other ways, but this seems like the easiest and simplest bypass.

Thanks, definitely going to try this on a next install. Usually I just try the offline method, however this seems easier.

Good to know. Explaining Computers YT channel just had a video of installing Win11/Win10 on a Raspberry Pi, in which he showed the exact sequence to achieve “local user account”.
