Currently stuck at build 16193 on a boot camp partition on macbook pro 15" retina mid 2014.
each time it runs the update, for both 16199 and now 16215 and then after the first reboot gets ti about 3% then reverts back to the old version.
Not running anti virus other than defender,
any suggestions?
Delete the Update Download cache, I've had the same happen to me a while ago. After deleting the cache it worked fine.
On a sidenote, when was the last slow-ring deployment? I haven't gotten an update in ages (not sure which build I'm on) since I had to go from fast to slow ring (fast ring build was crashing for me and came back on a daily basis).
just giving that a whirl now and I'll see how that goes.
I think the last slow ring build was the one before 16193 16189???? maybe
no joy. any other suggestions short of installing from scratch?
