You’ve probably already checked this but make sure in device manager that the microphone can’t be turned off to save power.
I wonder if you boot into Linux and try using the microphone all night, will it disconnect with the same behavior? If it does then you have evidence it’s a hardware failure with the microphone.
But, I think if I were in your shoes, it wouldn’t take me long to just shell out the cash for a new microphone of a different brand. A popular microphone, like a Blue Yeti or something, would be a safe bet.
Windows blows but it’s ingrained. It sucks.
